The Belgian Association of Golf Captains was founded on April the 4th 1984 by :

Percy BOOMER, Robert CORDONS, Maurice DANTHINE, Jacques DE RIDDER, Louis de WEISSENBRUCH, Henry DRYON, Jean DUYSTERS, André FRANEAU, Jean Grisard de la ROCHETTE, Benoit LEVECQ and Michel OLAERTS.

The aim of the Association is to promote the development of the sport of golf in Belgium, in accordance with time-honoured and noble traditions of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St.Andrews, and to encourage and improve ties between the Captains and Past Captains of the various affiliated clubs, the effective members of the BAGC and the officers of the Royal Belgian Golf Federation.

Becoming Member / Kandidaat Lid / Devenir Membre

The Captains of all clubs affiliated to the Royal Belgian Golf Federation are entitled to apply for membership of the BAGC, providing they have served a minimum one year as captain. Full and effective membership of the BAGC will be granted after an initial probationary period of two years, subject ot approval of the Board of Directors.
Alle kapiteins van de Belgische Golfclubs aangesloten bij de K.B.G.F kunnen kandidaat lid worden van de vereniging na een kapiteinsmandaat van minimum een jaar. Na een proefperiode van twee jaar en mits goedkeuring van de Raad van Bestuur kunnen ze effectief lid worden van de BAGC.
Tous les capitaines des clubs belges affiliés à la FRBG ayant rempli un mandat d'au moins un an peuvent poser leur candidature auprès de l'association. Après une période d'essai de deux ans et l'approbation du Conseil d'Administration, ils deviennent membres effectifs de la BAGC.
