Manon De Roey carded a par round in the first round of the Maybank Championship at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. Her 72 came from one eagle, two birdies and four bogeys. This puts her in joint 47th place.
It was France’s Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (photo) who posted the best score with a 64 (-8). She leads ahead of in-form Miyu Yamashita and Sophia Schubert, who are one stroke behind.
Charley Hull and Perrine Delacour are lying in fourth place. Julia Lopez Ramirez is in sixth place.
